By Train :

The nearest railway station is Neral, which is well-connected to Mumbai and Pune. From Neral, visitors can take the scenic toy train, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to reach Matheran.

By Road :

Matheran is well-connected by road to Mumbai and Pune. Regular bus services and private taxis are available from these cities to reach the hill station. Additionally, vehicles can only reach Dasturi Naka, which is the last point accessible by road, and from there, visitors must proceed by foot or horseback.
